The closing of summer officially marks a year since moving out to the desert. Living in Vegas has been quite an adjustment, but it has also come with many amazing opportunities. Being able to work for myself and finally start launching my own social media and publicity agency has been such a rewarding experience. I'm also producing an incredible fundraiser event on The Strip for a great local charity. It's a lot of hard work, but seeing my vision slowly come to life and knowing the difference being made makes it so worth it.

On top of that, I've also started to build a social group for local bloggers. Being a full time blogger in NYC was a pretty common career path, but out here it's very rare - especially for style bloggers like myself. Unlike other cities, companies in Vegas just aren't as in tuned to the digital practices like social media management or influencer relations. Realizing this, I wanted to encourage local style bloggers to not give up on their goals or dreams. Bloggers and influencers are extremely relevant. They are the future. Each of them has a story and deserves to share it and have it heard.

I crafted this group to help showcase local bloggers on a single platform, and spend time introducing these super talented bloggers flying below the radar to different brands and companies, essentially helping grow their business and build their brand. The group has also become such a great way for bloggers to meet other bloggers, influencers, photographers, stylists, or designers in the industry to initiate cool collaborations - which is, not only fun, but extremely important for creating a successful blog.

The digital world, especially in the fashion industry, is so exciting for me. The possibilities are endless and you can be as awesome, weird, honest and creative as you want. You choose what path you take and the people you want to ride along with you. I'm excited to see if my efforts can really make a difference. And I'm beyond excited to see where these ventures will take me. Let's see where another year in Sin City will lead.

After all, this is Vegas. You know what they say. You have to gamble if you want to win.
