An oasis in the desert and gem in the heart of a small town, Hotel Paisano brings an array of historical contexts and social axis to the artistic town of Marfa, Texas.

Designed in the early 1930's by  Trost & Trost, and once the headquarters of the classic film Giant, it's no surprise this hotel's background is of interest to so many. But, it's the welcoming, charming, one-of-a-kind feeling emitted from Paisano and its staff that truly drives the business. It can't be beat - and alone makes a weekend getaway to Marfa all worthwhile.

During the WearHouse District's summer road trip we chose to stop and take in Paisano and all its offerings. Truly inspired by the hotel, our homelike suite, its history, and its visually striking design, we found ourselves fully embracing the Paisano culture - this included dressing the part. Pulling from the hotels antiquity we featured several vintage items in our wardrobe. Feeling at home, we dressed for comfort (without sacrificing style). Representing the hotel's charm, we didn't stray from color. Finally, at night - when the hotel is absorbed with a warm, ambiance - we reached for a simply, chic and sexy number.
